From Topshop. I've been trying to curb the amount of impulse buys I make, but seriously, I had to have this! It's a little too large for my dainty child hands, so I might pop it onto a chain.

This is the kind of jewellery that would have had my old jewellery tutor foaming at the mouth. I can't count how many times she complained about pieces that were "too raw" and looked like "things were growing out of them". I really enjoy a little slight repulsion on the otherhand. The first thing I thought of when I found Alidra Alic was the 1988 film Akira.

I must admit though, I've slightly scarred myself now by reading about screw worms and "Mongolian Death" worms this morning.
